MANASSAS, Va. -- An unidentified Arlington woman got out of her car Tuesday and shot herself outside a McDonald’s near Manassas, police said.
An area resident who was driving near the scene stopped his car in the area of Va. 28 and Va. 234 bypass about 12:15 p.m. and saw a woman lying in front of her car, suffering a fatal gunshot wound, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
The victim was 25 years old. Police did not release her name or any information about who might have witnessed the incident.
