A 14-year-old boy was sitting in his living room in his Dale City house when a man, possibly a teenager, busted down the front door to the house and robbed them, police said.

Police reported Thursday that the intruder broke into the home in the 4600 block of Eastlawn Avenue about 10:25 p.m. Feb. 19.

The man demanded money from the victims, and made off with one person's shoes and a small amount of coin, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.

The intruder was described to be between 16 and 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, wearing black clothes and had his face covered with a bandana.

No one was injured during the robbery.
