Lennar Announces Final Opportunity To Purchase A New Home In Heritage Hunt

Gainesville, VA--- It all began in 1997 with a new home community that would set the standard for active adult living in Virginia. That community is Lennar’s Heritage Hunt in Gainesville. Now, more than a decade later, Heritage Hunt is in its final stages of development with only two homes left to sell.

“It is hard to believe that over 12 years have gone by since we began building homes and condominiums in Heritage Hunt,” said Ariff Cassim, Lennar’s new home consultant who has worked at Heritage Hunt since the community’s inception in 1997. “We started the development with 1,861 homesites and are now down to our last two homes. It is a very exciting time, but we will miss our partnership with the community tremendously. It has been an honor and a privilege to help make Heritage Hunt such a wonderful place to call home.”

The last two remaining homes are the Boxwood design. This popular floorplan features 1,750 square feet of living space, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. The home offers luxury upgrades at no additional cost including hardwood floors, a fireplace, coffered ceilings, crown molding and gourmet kitchen with Corian countertops and stainless steel appliances. The Boxwood is priced from $379,990 but Lennar is offering a special opportunity for prospective homebuyers to save up to $30,000 plus up to $10,000 towards closing costs.

“This is the final chance to purchase a new home in Heritage Hunt,” Cassim said. “ The savings incentive provides homebuyers with a great opportunity to get a wonderful home in an incredible community at a huge value. I encourage buyers to visit as soon as possible because with only two homes remaining, we will be sold out very soon.”

Nestled among nearly 800 acres, Heritage Hunt offers a wide range of amenities for its residents including an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arthur Hills, tennis courts, grand clubhouse complete with onsite restaurant, state-of-the-art fitness center indoor/outdoor swimming pools.

“Heritage Hunt is very unique and embodies the active adult lifestyle,” Cassim said. “There is always something going on in the community from golf and tennis tournaments to swimming classes and more. Our homeowners are always entertained.”

There is also a full-time activity director who oversees more than 50 Heritage Hunt clubs from ballroom dancing and bowling to hiking, chorus, woodworking and photography.

The community is 45 minutes from Washington DC, and close to I-66, I-81 and the Capital Beltway.

“Heritage Hunt is the ideal location for those who want to live in a vacation-like setting with convenient access to the nearby metropolitan area, ” Cassim said.

Throughout the years, Heritage Hunt has remained one of the top active adult communities in the country, winning numerous awards and honors including The Humanitarian of The Year Award for its charitable Homeowners Association and the Grand Visionary Award presented by the American Cancer Society for raising $775,000 to fight cancer over the course of nine years. Additionally, Heritage Hunt was recognized by the National Council on Senior Housing as the best active adult community in the country".

“Heritage Hunt is not your average development,” Cassim said. The residents in Heritage Hunt are remarkable people and very civic minded. They will do whatever it takes to help their fellow neighbors and surrounding community. From countless charitable activities to golf tournaments that support the American Cancer Society, Heritage Hunt is truly a one-of-a- kind community.”
