The Manassas City Police Department reports that there has been a significant increase in bicycle larcenies city wide over the past two weeks. Of reported, many bicycles were left unlocked and unattended on front lawns, porches and public sidewalks. This type of theft is more common during the summer months, so please remember to take precaution by securely locking unattended bicycles and closing garage doors.
