RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Gov. Bob McDonnell says Virginia is getting more than 100 new high tech jobs.
Florida-based Harris Corp. is expanding its operations in Virginia and McDonnell says the company is adding positions in Lynchburg and the northern part of the state.
Harris currently employs more than 1,900 people in Virginia, primarily in its Cyber Integrated Solution unit in Harrisonburg.
The governor's office says it's giving Harris a sales tax exemption for equipment and computers. The news was announced Wednesday.
