I consider myself an "open minded Republican" Who even voted for Barack Obama in Illinois as senator. We moved to Northern Virginia two and a half years ago and I was on the sidelines as Obama brought his message of "bi-partisanship, transparency and change" to Northern Virginia and Connolly rode his coat tails right along to victory.
Well, two years later Connolly is part of the problem. Our deficits are spiraling out of control and will only get worse as the health care monstrosity starts to be implemented (Remember, we will start paying for this catastrophe for years before its implemented).
So I guess the bottom line is this: I believe Mr. Fimian to be a good man, but my vote for him is as much a vote against Mr. Connolly (Who it seems as aligned himself with the FAR LEFT). We still have time to straighten out our economics and this disaster we now call "health care" before we reach the point of no return.
