Potomac Place will sponsor a free health fair March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stop by for refreshments and a relaxing massage from the Piedmont School of Professional Massage. There will be free screenings for osteoporosis, hearing, vision, blood pressure, blood sugar count, cholesterol, skin cancer, glaucoma and more. Other interests will be the new AARP CarFit program that is designed to help older drivers find the right "fit" in their vehicles. Lunch is free if you RSVP to 703-494-3817. Fashion for a cause
The Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1503 will host a fashion show on March 20 to benefit cancer aid and research. The annual event will be at VFW Post 1503, "A" Hall, starting at 1 p.m.
The event includes fashions from the Dress Barn at Potomac Mills modeled by members of the Ladies Auxiliary. Other highlights of the event include musical entertainment, catering by R &R Caterers, hair styles by Statements Salon and accessories by Lia Sophia Jewelry.

Pet food drive
There will be a pet food drive March 20 that benefits the PWSPCA's local pet food pantry. Items needed include dog and cat food (both wet and dry), treats and toys. Only new and unopened items will be accepted. A free tall drink coupon from Starbucks will be given to the first 100 donors. Please deliver pet foods to the Government Center Professional Building parking lot, 12581 Milstead Way, Woodbridge.
Summer job fair
Prince William County Public Schools will host two job fairs for high school students.
The first job fair will be held March 16 at Freedom High School, 15201 Neabsco Mills Road, Woodbridge. The second job fair has been rescheduled and will now be held March 18 at Stonewall Jackson High School, 8820 Rixlew Lane, Manassas. Both job fairs will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Students must be 16 to 18 years old and must attend one of the job fairs to be eligible for summer employ-ment.
A job fair for county college students is planned for May 24 at Hylton High School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Visit the PWCS Human Resources Web page at www.pwcs.edu/human resources and click on "summer hire" for further details and application procedures.
Beta Tau
Members of the Beta Tau Woodbridge chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International will hold its monthly business meeting and luncheon March 8 at noon at 2243 W. Longview Drive. If you would like to attend or for more information, contact Jane Shamblin at 540-899-9876. The event is free.
