The Minnie Mouse mugger and her two cohorts are off the street, according to the police.
Three girls — two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old — are charged with robbery and two counts each of assault by mob, Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
The teenagers, whose identities weren’t released because they’re juveniles, are accused of attacking two Woodbridge women and robbing one over a span of five minutes Nov. 2, Perok said.
One of the attackers was wearing a pink-and-black Minnie Mouse mask in both incidents.
The first victim, a 21-year-old woman, told police that she was walking in the 4100 block of Dale Boulevard about 10 p.m. when three girls she didn’t know approached and began assaulting her, Perok said.
During the assault, the attackers took the victim’s bag and phone before fleeing the area on foot, Perok said.
Minutes later, police were called to the 14700 block of Darbydale Avenue for another assault. A 27-year-old woman reported to police that she was approached by three girls she didn’t know who then attacked her, Perok said.
That victim was able to get into her car, and the attackers fled.
All three teenagers are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
