PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. - Officers called to the Red Roof Inn near Manassas on Thursday night for a report of an overdose found a 2-year-old who had eaten marijuana, police said.
The toddler is reported to be fine, but her mother and a man in the hotel room with her have been charged with reckless endangerment of a child, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Police said the girl’s mother called 911 about 9 p.m. from the hotel at 10610 Automotive Drive off Balls Ford Road.
After the toddler was treated and placed in the care of Child Protective Services, police executed a search warrant on the hotel room and found more suspected marijuana, Perok said.
Nicole Shree Corbett, 22, was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Fernando Vintinelli Booker, 25, was held without bond.
Both were also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Perok said.
Corbett and Booker both listed an address on Blackhorse Court in the Manassas area, but Perok said it was unclear if the two still lived there.
