PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. - Looking for some good reading material and at bargain prices?
The Friends of Central and Bull Run Libraries will conduct a book sale at the Bull Run facility on Sept. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sept. 12 from noon to 4 p.m.
Many of the books are in pristine condition and those interested should come early for the best selection of reference, fiction, non-fiction and children’s materials.
Other upcoming library events include:
• Spanish Conversation Club--Spanish for Fun!--which meets every Tuesday at 12 noon at Bull Run.
• English Conversation Club meetings on Mondays, Sept. 13, 20, 17 at 6 p.m. and Tuesdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 10 a.m. at Bull Run.
• Memoirs Writers meet the first Tuesday morning of each month. The next meeting will be Sept. 7 at 10:15 a.m. Writers of Children’s Literature meet the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and will hold their next meetings on Sept. 14and 28. Writers of Adult Literature meet the second and fourth Saturdays at 2 p.m. and will meet on Sept. 11 and 25 at Bull Run.
• Genealogy 101 is scheduled for Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. at Bull Run. The program will highlight the numerous free genealogical resources available at the Ruth E. Lloyd Information Center and will explore basic techniques for tracking ancestors.
