Woodbridge resident Elin Daniel Reyes, 27, is the Prince William fugitive of the week after, police said, he allegedly stole a car and used credit cards found inside it in January.
The owner of the car, who lives in the 5600 block of Shoal Creek Way in the Simmons Grove neighborhood of Haymarket, told police Jan. 17 that his car was stolen from his home the previous night, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
Police said that two of the victim’s credit cards left in the car were used in various regional jurisdictions.
Reyes was identified in the investigation as one of three men responsible for the auto theft and credit card usage, and he has active warrants on file, Perok said.
Reyes, whose last known address is 15354 Gunsmith Terrace near the Winslow Chase neighborhood, is wanted for grand larceny auto and two counts of credit card fraud, Perok said.
He was described as being 6 feet tall, 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information relating to the Reyes’ whereabouts call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700, or 1-866-411-TIPS. Callers do not have to give their names or testify in court and may receive a reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in an arrest.
