The Prince William County Animal Shelter is hoping to find a generous home for a Chihuahua-mix pup who needs an operation.
Louie is a 10-week-old male who needs an operation for a large hernia in his abdomen. Officials say they are looking for “ a special person to give him a permanent home and see him through his surgery.”
Louie won’t be old enough for the surgery until he is six months old and the operation will cost between $1,300 and $2,300.
The Save A Dog, Save A Cat (SADSAC) Rescue is fostering Louie and accepting donations on his behalf for his future operation.
