A Centreville man was arrested in the Manassas Park-area on Thanksgiving day for allegedly fighting with a friend.

Michael Keith Rothwell, of 5483 Braddock Ridge Drive, is charged with malicious wounding, Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

About 6 a.m. Thursday morning, police responded to the 7500 block of Kimberton Court for report of an assault. The victim, a 26-year-old Sterling man, told police that he and the accused were involved in an argument during which the accused struck the victim several times.

Rothwell, 26, was arrested without further incident. The victim was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital. Rothwell was held without bond and has a Jan. 17 court date scheduled.
