A Lake Ridge man faces peeping charges after police said he was seen looking into at least two homes early Tuesday morning.

Rene Alberto Cruz is accused of standing on a lawn chair and looking into a home on the 2900 block of Jamestown Court at 2:23 a.m., Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police arrived and spotted him, but the peeper picked up the chair, jumped over a fence and ran. He was soon apprehended, Perok said.

A caller told police that they saw a man matching Cruz’s description looking into another home on nearby Greenhall Drive, police said.

Cruz, 28, of 12708 Greenhall Drive, was charged with peeping into a dwelling, Perok said.

He was held without bond.

Cruz’s court date was not available.
