Police are looking for two masked men who stole a 2004 Ford Ranger from a Haymarket man and assaulted him early Friday morning.

The 29-year-old victim told police he got out of his vehicle in the 15100 block of Stepping Stone Drive, Haymarket area, when the two men he did not know, came up to him, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

One of the men, who police believed was armed, forced the victim to hand over his keys and then assaulted him, resulting in minor injuries.

Police do not have a description of the men other than to say they were about 6-foot-3-inches tall.

The stolen Ford Ranger was green and had Virginia license plates KCM-9144, police said.
