Somebody struck the rear of a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer parked on the 9400 block of Taney Road, Manassas, on Wednesday, causing $600 in damages, police said.

The car’s owner told police his sport utility vehicle was hit sometime throughout the night or early morning, Manassas police Sgt. Eddie Rivera said.

Officers are still investigating the case.

Police ask that anyone with information call Crime Solvers at 703-330-0330. Callers do not have to give their names or testify in court and may receive a reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in an arrest.
