Police are looking for a man who they said robbed two males at gunpoint in Dale City on Friday.
The 15-year-old and 42-year-old victims, of Woodbridge, told police they met a man they knew only through Facebook in the 14700 block of Barkesdale St. in hopes of selling three pairs of used shoes valued at $300, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
A group of men the victims didn’t know surrounded them. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded they hand over the shoes, police said.
The group stole the shoes and an undisclosed amount of money before running away, according to police.
The victims, who sustained minor injuries, told police the gunman was between 16- and 18-years-old, and was skinny, Perok said.
The victims could not describe the other men in the group.
