A 16-year-old Woodbridge boy faces robbery charges after police said he stole money from a Lake Ridge grocery store Friday afternoon.
According to Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok, the teen, whose name was not released, walked to a cashier at the Giant, 12445 Hedges Run Drive, handed the cashier a $20 bill, and asked for change.
After getting the change, police said the teen grabbed the $20 bill he originally gave the cashier, pushed the cashier, and ran out of the store after the employee tried to stop him.
The teen was charged with robbery, Perok said.
Police did not have his court date or bond information available.
