Teachers at Forest Park High School observed a Work to the Rule demonstration by leaving school together at 2:15 p.m. in Woodbridge, Va. on Monday, February 13, 2012. In response to the recent announcement that the proposed 2013 school budget would not include raises, and not likely to see one until 2016 at the earliest, teachers throughout the county began to strictly follow their contracts to the hour.
