Police are looking for a masked intruder who broke into a Woodbridge home on Thursday.
A resident of a house in the 3300 block of Wyndale Court told police he heard footsteps on a lower floor of his home at 6:28 p.m., Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
The resident saw a 25- to 35-year-old, 6-foot-5-inch tall white man he did not know wearing a ski mask in his living room. The burglar, who police said got into the home through an unlocked front door, ran away when the resident saw him.
Police said the burglar had blue eyes, and wore a black leather jacket, black pants, black boots, and black gloves.
