Police are looking for Robert Eugene Kiger, 25, after they said he and Lee Albert Coppage stole copper and brass wire valued at $300 from a shed on the 7500 block of Hoadly Road between 5 p.m. Feb. 5 and 11 a.m. Feb. 6, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
Police also connected Kiger and Coppage to an earlier theft of copper wire and lead valued at $800 from the same home after finding the men sold the goods to a local scrap yard, police said.
Kiger, who lived on Tayloe Drive, is wanted on two counts of burglary, two counts of grand larceny and two counts of larceny with intent to sell, Perok said.
He is described as a 5 foot, 8 inch tall, 130-pound white man with brown hair and blue eyes.
Coppage was charged Feb. 7 with the same counts as Kiger, Perok said. Coppage has a court date of March 8.
Anyone with information regarding Kiger’s whereabouts are asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-311-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash award.
