A Bull Run-area man faces gun charges after police said he accidentally fired a gun in his home on Sunday.
Joseph Ryan Konczal called police after the gunshot, whose bullet traveled into the apartment above his, at 4:27 p.m., Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
Nobody was hurt.
Konczal, 22, of 10873 Gambril Drive, #21, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm, Perok said.
He was released in lieu of a $2,500 unsecured bond.
His court date was unavailable.
