Gun, computers stolen from Occoquan-area home
A handgun, two computers, a gaming console, as well as games and gaming equipment valued at $2,600, were stolen from a home on the 1700 block of Shady River Court, Occoquan area, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police believe the burglar entered the home by breaking out a rear window.

Shoes stolen from Montclair home

A pair of shoes, valued at $65, was stolen from a home on the 15300 block of Inlet Place, Montclair, on Saturday, police said.

Officers arrived at the home at 10:43 p.m. for an alarm and found the burglar had pried open a rear window to take the shoes, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police did not find anybody in the home.  

Tools stolen from Fauquier trailer

Hand and power tools, a Hilti Chop-saw and Miller welder, as well as several wrenches and sockets, were stolen from a storage trailer parked on the 12600 block of Shipps Store Road, Morrisville, on Feb. 13, Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Lt. James Hartman said.

Deputies believe the thief cut a fence and broke a window in trailer to get to the items.

Authorities are still investigating the theft.


Log splitter stolen from Fauquier store
A Huskee log splitter, valued at $1,700, was stolen from the Arbor Tech, 11494 James Madison St., Remington, on Feb. 13, Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Lt. James Hartman said.

Deputies are still investigating the theft.


Electrical supplies stolen from Fauquier home
Electric wire, outlets, boxes and connectors valued at $16,535 were stolen from a home on the 6200 block of Old Auburn Road, Warrenton area, on Feb. 14, Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Lt. James Hartman said.

Tools stolen from Gainesville-area home

Tools, valued at $300, were stolen from a home on the 12600 block of Tide View Court, Gainesville area, between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police believe the burglar entered the home through an unsecured side door.


Clothing stolen from Haymarket-area home

Clothing, valued at $1,600, were stolen from a home on the 6700 block of Emmanuel Court, Haymarket area, between 11 p.m. Feb. 15 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 17, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police did not find any signs of forced entry at the home.
