A Manassas woman faces disorderly charges after police said she punched a glass door at Prince William Hospital.

Officers arrived at a home on the 9600 block of Waterford Drive at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 15. They determined Andrea Monique Beale overdosed on her prescribed medication and mixed it with alcohol, Manassas police Sgt. Eddie Rivera said.

Beale, 33, yelled at officers and became disruptive toward police as she was taken to the hospital.  She also refused treatment from hospital staff and then punched a glass door at the facility, Rivera said.

Beale, of 9611 Waterford Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct.

She was held in lieu of a $1,000 bond and has a court date of March 26.

Rivera did not reveal which medication Beale was on, citing HIPAA laws.

Staff writer David Pierce can be reached at 703-530-3905.
