Police charged a Manassas man with defecating in a city convenience store on Feb. 20, authorities said.

A clerk at the 7-Eleven, 9807 Cockrell Road, told police that a man—later identified as Josue Soto Zamora--acted as if he were intoxicated, became disorderly and yelled at the clerk after being told he could not use the store’s restroom, Manassas police Sgt. Eddie Rivera said.

Soto Zamora then pulled his pants down and defecated inside the store, near the front entrance, Rivera said.

Police found Soto Zamora, 20, of 7611 Quail Run Lane, on nearby Center Street, and charged him with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and indecent exposure, Rivera said.

He was held at the Adult Detention Center until officials deemed he was no longer intoxicated, police said.

His court date was not available Monday.
