Officers are hoping to find a man who they said stole a blue 1995 Honda Accord on Dec. 27.
The car’s owner told police he met man in the 10200 block of Woodmont Ct., Manassas, who told him he could repair the Accord at a discounted price, Manassas police Sgt. Eddie Rivera said.
The victim gave his car keys to the man in hopes he would fix the car’s needed repairs, which police didn’t disclose.
The victim, according to police, hasn’t heard from the man since giving him the keys.
The suspect described as a 5'2" to 5'3", 130 pound, Hispanic man around 55-years-old.
The nature of the car’s required repairs are unclear.
Officers are still investigating the theft.
