A Falls Church woman faces hit and run charges Sunday afternoon after police said she kicked two officers.
Medena Jones, while driving a green Jeep Grand Cherokee, reportedly hit a parked car in the area of Church St. and Main St., Manassas, and drove away at about 1:50 p.m., according to Manassas police Sgt. Eddie Rivera.
Police found Jones driving her car, reportedly intoxicated, on Portner Ave., near its intersection with Grant Ave., Manassas, soon afterward, officers said.
Jones apparently kicked two police officers while at the Adult Detention Center.
Jones, 38, was charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement officers, driving under the influence, and hit and run, Rivera said.
She was held without bond, and has a court date of Mar. 13.
