Jewelry, tools stolen from home

Jewelry and tools, valued at $400, were stolen from a home on the 7000 block of Yates Ford Road between midnight Nov. 24 and midnight Jan. 17, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Police did not find signs of forced entry.

Break-in attempted at Dale City home

Somebody broke a rear window and tried to enter a home on the 4400 block of Hamilton Drive between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Prince Wil­liam police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

The burglar did not enter the home, and nothing was stolen.

Break-in at Bull Run-area home
Somebody broke into a home under construction located on the 7800 block of West Point Court between 2:30 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

Although police did not find signs of forced entry, they believe the burglar got into the home through an unlocked rear basement door.

Nothing was stolen.
