A Haymarket-area man faces drug and DUI charges after police said he ran from them after hitting a parked car on Jan. 15.
An officer, at the intersection of Manassas and Courtney Drives, Manassas Park, said they saw a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe driving on Manassas Drive circle around an intersection and turned onto nearby Moseby Drive without stopping at the stop sign.
The driver – later identified as Warren Leon Corum – reportedly continued on Manassas Drive and hit a parked Subaru car, Manassas Park police spokeswoman Karen Barton said.
Corum apparently ran from police following the crash, officers said.
Corum, 31, of Mountain Road, was charged with possessing a schedule II narcotic [cocaine], DUI [second offense], resisting arrest, driving while license is revoked, and unreasonable refusal, Barton said.
He was held without bond, and has a court date of Mar. 8.
Police did not provide a mugshot of Corum.
