Man charged in eastern Prince William burglaries

Andre Lamont Wright, a fourth suspect in a recent rash of burglaries in eastern Prince William County, turned himself in Friday, police said.

Andre Lamont Wright is charged with taking part in 11 burglaries in as many days to businesses,mainly along the U.S. 1 corridor in Woodbridge and in Dale City, according to Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Wright, 18, of 15041 Sunny Ridge Drive, #202 in Woodbridge, was charged with three counts of burglary, one count of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny in the burglaries, Perok said.

Police did not have his bond or court date information available.

Detectives linked evidence found at the Jan. 10 burglary at the Wok N Pho to a 16-year-old suspect. Police soon found three more people they believe where involved.

Devon Nathanial Boone, 23, of 14646 Balsam Street, Woodbridge, was charged with possession of stolen property and contributing to a delinquency of a minor, Perok said.

He was released on a $2,000 bond and has a court date of Feb. 29.

Two 16-year-old Woodbridge boys, whose names were not released, also face charges, according to Perok.

One of them faces seven counts of burglary after being arrested on Jan. 19.

Police did not have his court date available.

The second teen, who was arrested on Jan. 20, faces three counts of burglary, one count of grand larceny, and has a court date of Feb. 9.

The teens are being held at the juvenile detention facility, police said.

Police said the suspects are linked to some of the following incidents, and all the cases below are considered closed:

Reported Jan. 5: Burglary to a business, La Despensa Latina Grocery, 4120 Dale Blvd., Dale City. The suspect(s) appeared to have gotten into the business after breaking out the front glass door. Money was reported missing.

Reported Jan. 10: Burglary to a business, Wok N Pho restaurant, 4148 Dale Blvd., Dale City. The suspect(s) appeared to have gotten into the business after breaking out the front glass door. Money was reported missing.

Jan. 12: Burglary to a business, Platanillos Grocery, 14342 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. Police responded to an alarm and found the front door broken out. Nothing was reported missing.

Reported Jan. 13: Burglary to a business, Farm Café, 14850 Farm Creek Dr., Woodbridge. The suspect(s) appeared to have gotten into the business after breaking out a window. Money was reported missing.

Jan. 14: Burglary to a business, Cigar Zone, 14832 Build America Dr., Woodbridge. Police responded to an alarm and found the front door damaged, but no one appeared to enter the building. Nothing was reported missing.

Jan. 14: Burglary to a business, Carribean Carry Out, 14545 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. Police responded to an alarm and found the front door glass was broken out. Money was reported missing.

Jan. 14: Burglary to a business, Ali Grocery, Gifts and Spices, 14808 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. While police were investigating the Cigar Zone burglary, they found a glass window broken out at the Ali Grocery. Money and other items were reported missing.

Jan. 15: Attempted burglary to a business, KC Beauty Mart, 13963 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. Police responded to an alarm and found the front glass window was broken out. No one appeared to enter the building and nothing was reported missing.

Reported Jan. 16: Burglary to a business, African Queen Salon, 14553 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. The suspect(s) appeared to have entered the building through a front glass door that had been broken out. Nothing was taken from the salon, but money was reported taken from Fancy Nails and Hair which shares the space.

Jan. 16: Burglary to a business, China House, 14645 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Woodbridge. The suspect(s) appeared to have gotten into the business after breaking the front glass door. Money and a laptop were reported missing.

Reported Jan. 16: Attempted burglary to a business, Ghanaman International African Market, 1814 Featherstone Rd., Woodbridge. The suspect(s) appeared to have tried to break in through a front window, but the window wasn’t completely broken and no one gained entry. Nothing was reported missing.
