P-Nats win slugfest

The Potomac Nationals recorded 16 hits to beat the Kinston Indians 17-14 on Tuesday.
Potomac scored seven second inning runs and sixth more runs in the seventh.
Michael Burgess hit two home runs for the Nationals. He had three hits and six RBI.
Dee Brown had three hits, scored three runs and drove in three runs. Aaron Seuss also had three hits, including a double.
Relief pitcher Kyle Gunderson earned the win, his first in the Carolina League, in relief of starting pitcher Hassan Pena.
Gunderson pitched two and a third scoreless innings. His only blemish was the one walk he allowed.
The game lasted three hours, 30 minutes.
