Former Hylton standout Karibi DeDe has signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, the team announced on Friday.
DeDe, a linebacker at Auburn, had 57 tackles during his senior season in 2006. He participated in training camp with the New York Giants last year, but was released by the team on Aug. 27.
The Alouettes finished 8-10 in 2007, placing third in the East division. They qualified for the playoffs, but lost 24-22 to eventual Grey Cup finalist Winnipeg.
Montreal's current roster includes former Virginia Tech running back Mike Imoh and former Miami running back Jarrett Payton.
