The postseason was extremely kind to Allison Bartels in 2008. There was an all-district runner-up finish, a Region II title and an all-state finish.
This year appears to be just the same if not better.
Bartels has a district and regional title to celebrate and will go for her second straight all-state finish in Saturday's Group AA race at Great Meadow.
"I have great coaches in coach [Rob] Dulin and coach [Darrell] Earman," Bartels said. "They are incredible people and they're helping me maintain that consistency."
Bartels ran the 5K Panaroma Farms course in 18:58 during the Region II meet to help the Tigers earn the team title.
"I was thrilled," Bartels said. "I knew I had a shot if I could keep everything together and if I could stay strong and work the hills."
