Tyler Moore hit his first two home runs of the year, but the Myrtle Beach Pelicans hit three to defeat the Potomac Nationals 10-5 on Wednesday and snap Potomac's three-game win streak.
Myrtle Beach blasted one round tripper off Nationals starting pitcher A.J. Morris, then hit two more off reliever Jesse Estrada.
Morris took the loss to fall to 0-2.
It also did not help that Potomac made three errors, which led to four unearned runs.
Moore drove in three runs.
He, Steve Lombarozzi, Wilberto Ortiz and Edgardo Baez all had two hits for Potomac (8-11).
Baez also stole his first base of the year.
