Potomac Nationals rained out against Frederick Keys

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Potomac Nationals game against the Frederick Keys was postponed due to field conditions on Thursday and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday starting at 5:00 p.m. A couple of heavy rainstorms came through Northern Virginia and made the field unplayable.

Potomac is now three games behind their scheduled pace due to rain-outs with Kinston and Salem -- both of those games on the road. This is the second game this season to be called before it started due to rain at Pfitzner Stadium.

Potomac's Marcos Frias will face Frederick's Zach Clark in game one with Adrian Alaniz going up against Luis Noel of Frederick in the nightcap. Both games with be seven innings.

Fans with tickets for Thursday's game can exchange them for any future 2010 Potomac Nationals game – excluding potential playoff games.
