BASEBALL
Free Workouts
The Northern Virginia Baseball Development Program (NVBDP) is holding free workouts twice a week for the fall season. They are looking for rising 15U players for the 2010 season to play nationally ranked teams. There will be a limited number of openings for the fall/winter indoor workouts. Greater Manassas
Greater Manassas Baseball League registration is open for boys ages 4-17 at www.manassasbaseball.com. GMBL also has registration for girls softball players ages 6-18 at the same web site.

Manassas Park Yorkshire Little League
Sign-ups will be held through April 1. Registration is every Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the concession building by the stone house. New players must have copy of birth certificate. 12U Virginia Bruins

Youth Tee Ball

Hoop Booth National Team

Travel Team

Martial Arts program
Carteret Mortgage Boys & Girls Club has begun a Martial Arts program for children ages 6-14. There’s open enrollment until all spots are filled. Monthly fee is $50 plus a one-time membership fee of $20 to the Carteret Mortgage Boys & Girls Club. Initial start-up fee is $55. Total Sports Pavilion
Year-round leagues for youth and adults in indoor soccer, roller hockey and field hockey are available. The men’s open league is for teenagers and those older. There is a women’s over 30 league and coed intermediate league consisting of teenagers and those older. There is also a youth league open to those ages 4-17. Email marietsp@aol.com for any questions. OFFICIATING
Bull Run Association
Bull Run Officials seeking individuals interested in becoming sports officials. Bull Run Officials is a member of the Virginia High School League Association that handles basketball, softball, baseball and football. Levels of competition vary from youth recreation to Group AAA high schools. Assignments are in Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Loudoun County as well as other Northern Virginia areas. Experience needed for the higher-level assignments. Association will provide training and testing. Indoor Soccer

Indoor Soccer for Teams

Indoor Soccer Rentals
Total Sports Pavilion offers rental hours for sports teams or family and friends to play pickup soccer. The sport court floor can be used for soccer, hockey, dance, aerobics or speed and agility work. Birthday parties can also be booked when space is available. Manassas Blaze U16
The Manassas Blaze 16U girls fastpitch softball team is seeking experienced players to fill out our roster for the 2009/2010 season. Team is looking for pitchers and catchers, as well as other infield and outfield positions. Tryouts will held 26&27 at Jennie Dean Elementary School (field #4) from 6-8 p.m. each evening. Players are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions.

Prince William Lassie League

Northern Virginia Senior Softball
Northern Virginia Senior Softball (www.nvss.org) seeks players, men 50+, women 40+, for fun, fitness, and fellowship, playing 2 slow-pitch 7-inning softball games Tuesday & Thursday mornings on Fairfax County fields, April 13 - August 12. WRESTLING
Commuter Camps
The intense amateur camps will be held July 12-17, 2010. A two-day elementary camp is July 12-13 and cost is $75. A high school and middle school camp is July 14-17 and cost is $175. Both camps will have a takedown tournament at the end. There is also a women’s self-defense course on July 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 and participants can learn from UFC Hall of Famer Dan Severn.
