In the Group AAA Cardinal District semifinals, Lexi Carpenter and Breyana Mason each scored 31 points apiece as second-seeded Forest Park defeated third-seeded Hylton 97-58 at Osbourn Park.
The Bruins (14-9) meet top-seeded Potomac Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for the tournament title. Forest Park also earns a berth in the Northwest Region Tournament. Hylton (15-8) plays fourth-seeded Osbourn Park Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the district third-place game to determine who receives the third regional berth.
Carpenter converted five 3-pointers Monday, while Mason had seven assists. Karyne Williams scored 13 for the Bruins.
Sydney White led Hylton with 27 points.

The Panthers (21-2) play second-seeded Forest Park Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Osbourn Park for the tournament title.
