Woodbridge High School sophomore Da’Shawn Hand has picked up his sixth scholarship offer from a Division I school.

Michigan has entered the mix, joining Boston College, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, N.C. State and Rutgers. Woodbridge head coach Kevin Smith received the news Monday that Hand has the offer from Greg Mattison, Michigan’s defensive coordinator.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Hand recorded 21 sacks this past season in being named the Cardinal District Co-Defensive MVP and second-team all-Northwest Region.

Hand competed at the U.S. Army National Combine Jan. 5-7 in San Antonio, where he was to the Rivals.com U.S. Army All-Combine Team for defense.
